Course description

This qualification reflects accounting job roles in financial services and other industries requiring accounting support functions. It is designed to prepare people to be an accounts officer, assistant accountant, bookkeeper or perform routine accounting tasks.

Course description; This qualification reflects professional accounting job roles in financial services and other industries.

The course will help students to further their knowledge of accounting and taxation practices and will help to improve understanding of sound financial practices.

Entry into Diploma level qualifications at the Career Training Institute is conditional on specific criteria. Students might need to produce evidence required to demonstrate that they are eligible for entry to the course.

Information for Employers

The Postgraduate Program provides employers an ideal opportunity to upskill employees through continuous training. Employees can gain nationally recognised qualifications by studying approved courses while gaining expertise in the workplace.

Traineeships are available to many students  which provide government subsidy towards the cost of enrolment.

Some students have been involved in the Career Advantage Program (CAP) while at school and are continuing their study under the Postgraduate Program with their full time employers. Contact CTI for details on how to sponsor an employee to undertake training.
